How do I book a space?
On Cozystay’s homepage, search for the destination you are planning to visit and locate your temporary home. You can specify dates in order to look for places that will be available when you travel. In order to allow hosts to get to know you better, and for the safety of our community, you will first need to create an account. Your account will be a verified profile with your picture, as well as any other information you would like to share with your host.
There are two ways of completing a booking: you can either use our convenient instant booking feature, or you can connect with the host first before making a reservation. Note that some hosts do not allow instant booking.
Our ID verification process allows Cozystay to connect with you using information such as your Facebook profile, phone number, email address, or photo ID.
The verification process helps promote trust within our community. In addition, hosts and guests can create detailed profiles and review each other. This allows our community to be more open, and fosters a secure environment for both host and guest.
It’s easy to make a secure payments with Cozystay. Once you have confirmed a reservation with your host, you’ll be able to pay using your credit card, PayPal, WeChat Pay, Alipay, or email transfer.
How to register
You can register with your Facebook, Google, Weibo or WeChat account, or simply by using your mobile phone number or email address. If you register using your mobile phone number or email address, a verification code will be sent to you via text or email, which you need to validate in the corresponding field.
How to retrieve your forgotten password
If you have forgotten your password, just click “forgot password” on the login page and enter your email address. An email will be sent to your inbox with a verification code that you can use to reset your password.

How do I list my space?
Hosts can list their space for free on Cozystay. You don’t need a vacant home to host; all you need is a spare room with the proper amenities! Examples can range from a pull-out bed in the guest room to entire homes or apartments.
On Cozystay’s home page, click “List your space” in order to begin setting up your listing. We suggest that you enter as much information as you can and use creative descriptors make your property as attractive as possible. Post pictures of your home, furniture, and rooms. Show the world your style! After you submit your listing, Cozystay will review your request before publishing it for the world to see.
Once everything is set up, guests who find your listing to their liking can get in contact with you in order to book. You can give your guests the option of sending a reservation request, or allow them to book immediately with our instant booking feature.
How safe is it to list my space on Cozystay?
Cozystay’s website is SSL certified and hosted with Amazon Web Services (AWS), a comprehensive, evolving cloud computing platform provided by Amazon.com. Data and information is not shared with any third party. Cozystay fully guarantees customers’ transactions and registration information.
Does Cozystay charge fees for registering accounts or listing spaces?
Registering for an account and hosting your vacation property is free. Once a booking is completed, a 3% service fee is charged to the host, and 12% service fee is charged to the tenant.
How do I get more bookings from guests on Cozystay?
Pictures tell a thousand words. We recommend that all pictures of your space uploaded on to the site are high quality pictures that showcase the space. You can improve your listing by adding detailed descriptors and a good headline. The more information you post, the better it is for the guest.
Can I require ID authentication from the renter?
When listing your property, there will be an option for you to request ID authentication from your guest. Although hosts may lose some customers by requesting such information; we suggest you request further authentication to ensure the security and safety of your vacation rental.
How can I avoid double bookings?
As a host, it is important that you manage your booking calendar to ensure you don’t double book your rental unit. There are third party software providers which can help you manage your booking calendar. We suggest that you manage your calendar and communicate with customers to avoid double bookings. It’s important that you receive positive customer reviews and feedback.
How do I list multiple rental units?
Multiple rental units need to be listed separately. If you have a home and you are renting out each room individually, you will need to create a different listing on Cozystay for each room. You can rent multiple units from one account. Each room or unit may have different pricing and availability.
What do the accommodation types mean?
• ‘Entire House’ refers to a home, condo, cabin or villa which is rented out in its entirety.
• ‘Single Room’ refers to a single room for sleeping in a home, condo, cabin or villa. In most cases, a single room will have a shared living room, kitchen and/or bathroom with other occupants.
• ‘Shared Room’ refers to a room that is shared between occupants in a home, condo, cabin or villa. Renters do not have a private room for themselves.
Rental and other fees
Rental rates are set by the hosts and can be changed based on occupancy, and season. Hosts can also charge additional fees such as a cleaning fee, a pet fee, a parking fee, a kitchenware fee, and fees for additional tenants. Additionally, hosts may require a security deposit from the guest.
Managing your calendar
Hosts must self-manage their calendar. If you list your rental unit on multiple sites, it is important that you manage the availability on all sites. Cozystay supports one-way and two-way calendar sync via iCal import/export, as well as full property sync with selected channel managers. Please view your listing’s “Price Calendar” page for details.
How are the search result ranked?
Cozystay’s search results are ranked using location-based search engines and filters that the user may apply when searching for a rental unit. Furthermore, the more positive reviews you have, the higher you are ranked during the search process.
